Amphibian is a project dedicated to bringing people together through music, art and interactive storytelling. “flood” is an upcoming open source puzzle platformer game currently under development by Amphibian Studios. I currently work as a composer and sound designer for the studio, amongst many other tanlented artists and programmers.
Beat City Japan

The world’s first official Swissbeatbox-partnered event, Beat City Japan is an event as well as an outfit aiming to spread the word on the world of beatboxing. They have worked with grand-beatbox battle champions such as Colaps, Kenny Urban, and NaPoM.
The position entailed mixing and mastering all videos to be released on the Beat City Japan Youtube channel, which included a multitude of responsibilities such as remastering live audio, mixing and mastering audio for beatboxer showcases/sessions and for their BEATCITY COLLAB SESSION music videos.

This job entailed remastering the audio on a set of videos from a Beat City Japan event. There was no performer mic audio available from the event organizers, hence the original stage audio had to be remastered

Placy
Mixing & Mastering Engineer

Placy is a “spatial data company”. In essence, their app is like the popular review app “Yelp” but instead of reviews, users leave music that corresponds with the atmosphere and feeling of the business/establishment. Placy Smack is a spin-off application that gamified this process as well as holding related public events.
Placy requested mixing and mastering services for the soundtrack used in the app, given to players as rewards/collectibles. There were a total of 5 songs that needed to be mixed and mastered and they were completed in about a week's worth of total work hours, excluding time spent on meetings with the company’s creative director and artist.
The songs were in a lo-fi hip-hop style. Working with the artist every step of the way, we were able to achieve the lo-fi sound that they wanted, while also maintaining quality to modern standards.

Mocheexs (Influencer)

Mocheexs is a social media influencer/streamer and a licensed botanist based in Tokyo. She is also an entrepreneur and is the founder of Piante, a company specializing in plant restoration, related services and etc.
Mocheexs required mixing and mastering services for her series of song covers titled “Homegrown Harmonies” on social media (Instagram reels). This process involved advising her on good recording practices and various techniques, as well as processing the vocals and mixing them with instrumentals and or recreated instrumentals. It also involved talking with the client and going back and forth on creative decisions rapidly within a quick turnaround time ranging from 3 hours at the shortest to 2 days at the longest.
The instrumentals were sourced elsewhere when available, or created by mixing both an AI-generated instrumental version and self-made recreations of missing or sub-par elements in the AI-generated version. Along with this, all vocal effects had to be recreated by ear, essentially taking on the role of a producer.
